Repurposing a spare room

We recently received an enquiry from a customer who had recently bought a two-bedroom flat in the West End of Glasgow. The customer had decided they didn’t need a spare bedroom and wanted to build a dressing room instead.

I couldn’t recommend Gallery Design enough. John took the time to visit my flat, measure the room and draw up a plan, which he then explained to me, ensuring I had all the storage space I needed. We opted for double height hanging space in two of the wardrobes, with one further wardrobe featuring both hanging space for jackets and pull out drawers for shoes.

I also asked for a dressing table and was delighted with what John suggested. We created a dressing table, with shelves on either side of the mirror for perfumes etc. and three large drawers on either side of the knee hole.

The entire dressing room was lit by LED lighting and they even built a matching cupboard to box in the boiler, complete with a full length mirror. I visited the showroom once to choose my colours (a mix of matte grey tones) and door handles and everything else was dealt with over the phone.

I was more than comfortable to leave Liam and the team in my flat while I went to work, they were there on time and cleaned everything up after they left. I was absolutely delighted when I got home and it was even nicer than I had expected. We always give exact installation dates and time of arrival so there is no waiting around! We were delighted to hear this client had her expectations exceeded!

If you have a room you’d like to repurpose, give us a call or pop into the showroom to discuss what we can do for you!
